The ASCO Series 185 Automatic Transfer Switch is a reliable power switching solution designed for standby power applications in residential and light commercial settings. It continuously monitors utility power and, in the event of a power failure, automatically starts a backup generator and transfers the electrical load to the generator once it is ready. When utility power is restored, the switch returns the load to the utility and safely shuts the generator down after a cool-down period.
